ADVANCED MODELLING SOLUTIONS FOR EMISSION MANAGEMENT
Minetek has developed significant in-house modelling capability and is able to provide clients with the information and data required to achieve different types of emission modelling.
Our proprietary modelling solution, T-Mine, has the ability to measure the discharge outputs from our evaporators. T-Mine enables us to measure and model particulate matter (PM) concentrations and leaks, and determine if they are in line with the expected installation.
T-Mine also enables us to explore emission data for specific elements if required, with modelling based on water management services and water composition data.

After investigating a raft of different methods from sprinkler systems through to desalination systems (too costly for little benefit) we decided on the MINETEK WATER units. The evaporators were easy to install and once activated ran trouble free. We were very happy with the service from MINETEK and the reliability of the system.
It was completed with no incidents or injuries, with no delays, and ahead of schedule. The plan was for 10 shifts, and it was completed in 7 shifts.
MINETEK initially provided products for heavy mobile equipment noise abatement at the New Acland Mine. These installations have been very successful and prompted the contracting of MINETEK to conduct a full mobile fleet and fixed plant noise monitoring assessment at the Acland mine site.
We are always looking at new innovations and technologies that will benefit both us and our clients. Minetek has been able to display that with the use of their modern ventilation technology, where we can look to see production increases through faster re-entry times and reduced capital costs in the total life of the development, delivering value to both us and Mincor.
