UNDERSTANDING OPERATING SOUND CHARACTERISTICS

Sound power testing provides a much more thorough approach to understanding machine noise and is undertaken in carefully controlled conditions to simulate a range of operating conditions. This dynamic sound power testing measurement is implemented on a ramp and comprises, stationary, uphill loaded, downhill loaded (using retard) testing.

Incorporating a range of settings to simulate a variety of operating conditions, our experts are able to generate a complete understanding of sound characteristics in both ramped and open settings with no reflective surfaces nearby to interfere with sound power measurement.
