REDUCING THE RISKS

OPERATOR NOISE EXPOSURE TESTING

On Site Operator Noise Exposure

REDUCING RISK & PROTECTING PEOPLE
It has long been understood that safety is paramount within the industrial and mining industries. Operator noise exposure testing is necessary because extended exposure to excessive noise presents a significant safety risk to operators, particularly those operating machinery.

The identification and mitigation of potentially hazardous noise in industrial settings are critical in protecting workers from experiencing Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL), which can become permanent and irreversible. MINETEK has developed specialist capability in identifying and measuring sound hazards with a complete range of noise exposure testing services available across a range of machinery.

We found the MINETEK WATER team listened and supported our situation with helpful guidance and advice to layout the evaporator pipework maximising their efficiency. I would highly recommend the units to others needing a cost effective solution to excess water.”

Osborne Gold Mine Superintendent Environment

We are always looking at new innovations and technologies that will benefit both us and our clients. Minetek has been able to display that with the use of their modern ventilation technology, where we can look to see production increases through faster re-entry times and reduced capital costs in the total life of the development, delivering value to both us and Mincor.

Pit N Portal CEO

We have utilised MINETEK for a number of sound attenuation projects in the Hunter Valley and have formed an excellent relationship with Glencore over many years. MINETEK understand our industry and always provide a solid and professional commitment to meeting our goals and objectives."

Good product with great service leads to a great outcome. My dealings with MINETEK WATER and their supply and service of evaporator fans was one of high quality. I installed 10 evaporator fans on climate control to maximise efficiency and the results were incredible. From the first meeting through to commissioning nothing was a problem for the MINETEK WATER team. I would highly recommend this product to anyone with water disposal issues.

I have used these evaporators very successfully at mine sites where I have worked in the past. They are an extremely reliable unit and worked above expectations in the environment where we had them set up. As for spray drift/mist this can be controlled by the weather monitoring systems that are available with the units. Additionally, how you set them up and the amount of fall you can achieve allows for more moisture to be stripped from the droplets]will greatly benefit your overall evaporation rates.
