We can identify significant noise sources and measure the exposure levels, reducing noise levels on machinery. Our sound packages are technically engineered to maintain or increase airflow whilst achieving the desired regulatory noise requirements. We can achieve significant reductions in sound levels by 3-4 decibels without comprising machine performance. With our extensive experience in the mining and mineral processing industries, Minetek continues to design highly effective sound attenuation packages that facilitate access for operators and maintenance personnel while addressing restrictions on individual noise levels to ensure compliance. Good product with great service leads to a great outcome. My dealings with MINETEK WATER and their supply and service of evaporator fans was one of high quality. I installed 10 evaporator fans on climate control to maximise efficiency and the results were incredible. From the first meeting through to commissioning nothing was a problem for the MINETEK WATER team. I would highly recommend this product to anyone with water disposal issues.
After investigating a raft of different methods from sprinkler systems through to desalination systems (too costly for little benefit) we decided on the MINETEK WATER units. The evaporators were easy to install and once activated ran trouble free. We were very happy with the service from MINETEK and the reliability of the system.
The relatively small fans allowed us to utilise our existing bulkhead, where we were severely limited by space, which allowed us to use our existing infrastructure and dramatically reduce downtime in the mine during the change out. The installation was completed safely... and allows us to scale our ventilation flow with their pressure on demand system to suit our production profile.
MINETEK initially provided products for heavy mobile equipment noise abatement at the New Acland Mine. These installations have been very successful and prompted the contracting of MINETEK to conduct a full mobile fleet and fixed plant noise monitoring assessment at the Acland mine site.
