Often present in the oil and gas industry and as a specific by-product of the reverse osmosis process, brine water presents a significant and costly challenge to industrial operators. The result is a highly saline by-product that cannot be released back into the environment due to high levels of contaminants and Total dissolved solids (TDS). Minetek’s evaporators can process water with high levels of Total Dissolvable Solids (TDS) and Total Suspended Solids (TSS) and pH range as low as 1.8 and as high as 14.

Standalone or hybrid dewatering solution

Minetek’s evaporation technology is a cost-effective standalone or hybrid dewatering solution. With the ability to process varying water qualities, including solids up to 4.0mm in diameter and waste water with a pH level ranging from 1.8 to 14+. Minetek’s evaporation technology is a cost-effective standalone or hybrid dewatering solution. Our units pump large volumes of water at high pressure through specially configured nozzles atomising the water into tiny droplets. During this process, a percentage of the water will evaporate, and a percentage will fall back into the water source along with any solids, salts, heavy metals or contaminants.
