Primary ventilation solution to support the Sepon underground mine operations
Our client operates one of the largest Gold and Copper Mines in Laos PDR, located in the Savannakhet Province. To enhance the mine’s ventilation system, the client required a comprehensive solution that included surface-mounted primary fans and advanced electrical systems. Minetek provided a turn-key project that encompassed the design, manufacture, and commissioning of two 2600mm 1000kW surface-mounted primary fans. This project also included the installation of shaft top bends, ducting, evasé, self-closing doors, support steelworks, and a 1000V fan starter MCC with automation housed in a 20ft containerised switchroom. This integrated solution ensured efficient and reliable ventilation at the Gold and Copper Mine.
