The Komatsu 930E-5 is a large-scale haul truck designed for heavy-duty mining operations. This truck features a powerful engine delivering 2,014 kW / 2,700 HP at 1,800 rpm, with advanced management systems and enhanced efficiency. With an operating weight of approximately 521,631 kg / 1,150,000 lb and a payload capacity of 304,000 kg / 320 short tons, the Komatsu 930E-5 features an advanced operator cab that provides protection from dust and noise while ensuring excellent visibility under the most demanding mining conditions. The Komatsu 930E-5 haul truck represents a dependable option for large-scale mining haulage tasks.

To meet strict noise compliance, a leading mine engaged Minetek to reduce sound emissions across its Komatsu 930E-5 haul truck fleet, without sacrificing payload or performance. The client required a robust sound attenuation solution to meet stringent asset-level noise requirements for their Komatsu 930E-5 haul truck fleet. The goal was to reduce the cumulative sound power generated by surface operations while minimizing emissions, without compromising performance or payload.

The mine operates under strict environmental regulations and risks exceeding regulated site noise limits without a long-term noise control solution in place for nearby receptors and ongoing monitoring.
