Effectively managing food processing wastewater
Managing wastewater in the food processing industry is a complex challenge due to contamination from cooling, washing, cleaning, and sanitation operations. This wastewater, often laden with solid wastes like sludge, organic materials and solids, cannot be easily reused or recycled. While some processes aim to reduce water consumption through treatment, the economic and environmental burden remains significant. Minetek’s advanced evaporation solutions offer a powerful answer to this issue.
Our systems efficiently remove high levels of Total Dissolvable Solids (TDS), Total Dissolvable Solids (TDS) and Total Suspended Solids (TSS), as well as extreme pH levels ranging from 1.8 to 14. With Minetek, food processing facilities can achieve sustainable wastewater management, reducing their environmental footprint and operational costs.
Risparmio sui costi
Significantly reduce operational costs by minimising the need for off-site disposal and food processing wastewater treatment costs.
Evaporation technology for food processing
Minetek’s evaporation technology is a cost-effective standalone or hybrid solution for managing food processing wastewater. Our water evaporator units pump water at high pressure through specially configured nozzles, atomising the water into tiny droplets. During this process, a percentage of the water will evaporate, and a percentage will fall back into the water source or storage dam along with any solids, salts, heavy metals, or contaminants.
