Dewatering solution for a Copper Mine in Democratic Republic of the Congo.

In the Democratic Republic of the Congo, a copper mining operation faced the challenge of managing water levels in their tailings dam. To optimise this process, Minetek Water supplied three 200/100 Evaporation System Packages, offering a combined volume throughput of 135 m³ per hour (600 GPM). These advanced evaporation systems enabled the mine to efficiently reduce excess water, ensuring effective tailings dam management and maintaining operational safety. The solution provided a reliable and cost-effective approach to water management, aligning with environmental standards and supporting the mine’s sustainable operations.
