Minetek’s client needed to significantly decrease the sound output of their Caterpillar 789C to meet environmental regulations and prevent the delays and stoppages that were leading to significant loss of production and profits.

Minetek was commissioned to design and manufacture a Sound Attenuation Package for the Caterpillar 789C Dump Truck that would allow our client to operate the machine in accordance with the stringent noise regulations onsite.
