Today, Minetek presents to you our Africa-based Project Development Manager Oscar Loreti, and the Head of the Process team Daniel Couton.

Oscar Loreti: Project Development Management, Witbank, Mpumalanga

Minetek is pleased to announce Mr Oscar Loreti joining the dynamic global Minetek team as project development manager for Africa. Based in Witbank, Gauteng – Mpumalanga area, Oscar will bring a wealth of experience in engineering and large project delivery throughout Africa. Witbank is the energy centre of South Africa and the focal point of Africa’s largest coalfields, power stations, and steel manufacturing.

A professional technologist engineer and a qualified project manager, Oscar Loreti is a South African national who has previously worked for Highveld Steel and Vanadium in a diverse range of roles and responsibilities, as the Group technical manager for Chemical Services Ltd, and most recently for BHP Billiton (BECSA, now South32) as an engineer in the projects division, developing projects in major coal mines in the Mpumalanga area.

Daniel Couton: Head of Minetek’s Process Team

A Ph.D. in Process and Environmental Chemist with more than 15 years experience in the heavy industry sector, Daniel Couton is a highly qualified professional who focusses on the implementation and troubleshooting of supplied solutions and management systems while assisting clients in developing strategies and system performance monitoring
