Brief

Our client required an effective water balance management solution for their coal mining operation. The site needed a system capable of efficiently reducing excess water levels to prevent any adverse impact on production and maintain safe, continuous operations.

Challenge

Failure to properly manage and control water levels at the site could lead to several economic, environmental, regulatory, and social issues. These risks included potential production downtime, loss of revenue, fines due to non-compliance, or environmental incidents resulting from uncontrolled water discharge.

Solution

The installation of Water Evaporation System Package allowed the site to achieve a combined water flow rate of 900 m³/hour (4,000 GPM). This high-capacity evaporation system significantly reduced excess water volumes, effectively managing water balance across the site and mitigating the risk of flooding.
