Total Site Water Balance Management

Minetek provides an efficient and cost-effective dewatering solution enabling operators to access recoverable resources and efficiently manage the by-product of mining processes.

Managing water throughout the entire life of mine

Managing water throughout a mine’s life is crucial for operational efficiency, environmental compliance, and sustainable resource utilisation. Minetek’s advanced water management solutions ensure total site water balance from exploration to closure. Our innovative water management technology consisting of high-efficiency evaporation systems, helps control site water levels. By integrating Minetek’s solutions, mining operations can achieve optimal mine water balance, reduce environmental impact, and maintain regulatory compliance, ensuring a sustainable and profitable mining lifecycle.

Cost savings

Significantly reduce operational costs by minimising the need for off-site disposal and water treatment costs.

Environmental responsibility

Minimise your environmental impact by eliminating the need for traditional liquid waste disposal methods and reducing the risk of excess water storage, maintaining mine water balance.

Mobile & scalable solution

Our systems can adapt to the evolving needs of your oil & gas operations, ensuring they remain effective as you grow.

Regulatory compliance

Minetek helps you navigate and exceed stringent environmental regulations, ensuring your activities remain compliant.

Your site water balance solution

Minetek’s evaporation technology is a cost-effective standalone or hybrid solution to balancing site water throughout the entire life of mine. Our units can process varying water qualities, including solids up to 4.0mm in diameter and wastewater with a pH level ranging from 1.8 to 14+. They work by pumping a high volume of water at high pressure through specially configured nozzles, atomizing the water into tiny droplets. During this process, a percentage of the water will evaporate, any solids, salts, heavy metals or contaminants will not evaporate and will fall back into the water source. This results in a highly concentrated slurry, which can be further processed for resource recovery.
